Personal Statement
Music is unique in its ability to bring people a deep sense of community. It is a language that doesn’t need words to make an impact on the listener and it has the power to create meaningful bonds with otherwise strangers.
My aim is to connect cultures through music; from my own Jewish heritage to the indigenous people of this country and the myriad of other cultures around us. In a multi-cultural society such as in Australia, I believe it is extremely important that audiences can identify both with the music being made around the world and music made by local artists.
